Hello neighbours,
I’m running for Councillor in Division 6 because I believe in this community and the people who call it home. For each of you living in the beautiful neighbourhoods of Heritage Pointe, Artesia and Norris Coulee, and the open farms and acreages throughout Division 6, I share a love for this area and a desire to keep it special.
This community is my lifelong home. I grew up here, attended school in Okotoks, and built lasting relationships in my youth through the DeWinton Riding Club where I continue to serve as a Board member. And now I’m watching my children raise their own families here, which motivates me to help make sure future generations can enjoy the same quality of life that has meant so much to me.
Through my career working on construction and development projects, I know firsthand that growth doesn’t have to come at the cost of what makes our community unique. We must move forward in a proactive and measured way, ensuring developers respects our community and our values.
One of my primary concerns is the increasing traffic on Dunbow Road and the streets that intersect with it. We’ve seen too many accidents and it’s clear that poor planning and lack of proactive traffic management have put people at risk. I am committed to addressing these issues on Council, and demanding improvements so that our infrastructure is up to the task. Responsible development means making sure our roads can handle growing demands without sacrificing safety or quality of life.
Your voice matters to me, wherever you live in Division 6. I believe in being transparent, honest, and accountable to the community I care about so much. That’s why I will make it a priority to stay connected with you, hear your thoughts, and keep you informed every step of the way.
